NATURAL FACE MASKS FOR DRY SKIN

1. Cucumber Face Mask/Face Pack:

Cucumber has a hydrating and cooling effect on the skin which makes dry skin soft and glowing. It also prevents itching in dry skin.

Ingredients:

  • Half cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • How to make cucumber face mask:
  • Peel the cucumber and mash it well.
  • Add a tablespoon of sugar to it and keep it in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Take it out and apply it on your face and leave it for about 10 minutes and then wash it with water.
  • Use this face pack at least twice a week.

2. Cucumber and Aloe Vera Face Mask/Face Pack:

Aloevera is very good for the skin. It makes the skin hydrated and healthy. Cucumber has cooling and cleansing properties.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp aloe vera gel
  • Half a cucumber

How to make cucumber and aloevera face mask:

  • Take half a cucumber and cut it into slices.
  • Put the cucumber slices in a blender and blend till it becomes watery.
  • Add 2 tbsp aloe vera gel to it and blend again to make a smooth paste.
  • Apply this paste evenly on your face and allow it to dry. Wash it off after half an hour and pat your skin dry with a towel.

3. Sandalwood Face Mask/Face Pack:

Sandalwood has moisturizing properties and has a cooling effect on irritated skin. It is widely used for the treatment and prevention of dry patches and flakiness on the skin.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp sandalwood powder
  • Half a teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp rose water

How to make sandalwood face mask:

  • Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply it on your face and leave it on for fifteen minutes so that it dries.
  • Wash it off with normal water.
  • Use this pack two or three times a week.

4. Banana Face Mask:

Banana is a natural moisturizer and has anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties. Honey and olive oil are emollients.

Ingredients:

  • Half a ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

How to make a banana face mask:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until it forms a smooth paste.

Apply the paste on your face and let it dry for ten minutes then wash it off with normal water.

Use this pack once or twice a week.

5. Watermelon Face Mask:

Watermelon has high water content. It hydrates the skin and honey helps in retaining the moisture provided by the watermelon.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp watermelon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey

How to make a watermelon face mask:

  • Take a fresh watermelon and extract two tbsp of juice from it.
  • Add a tbsp of honey to it and blend till smooth.
  • Apply it on your face and leave it for 20 minutes then wash it off with clean water.
  • Use it two or three times a week.

6. Multani Mitti Face Mask/Face Pack:

Multani Mitti improves blood circulation and helps exfoliate dry and itchy skin.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Multani Mitti
  • 1 tbsp honey and Water as required

How to make a Multani Mitti face mask:

  • Mix Multani Mitti and honey in a bowl.
  • Add water as required to make the mixture perfect.
  • Apply the paste on your face and let it dry for 15 minutes.
  • Wash it off with normal water.

7. Shea butter and coconut oil face mask:

Shea butter and coconut oil help hydrate and soften the skin and restore its elasticity.

Ingredients:

  • Shea butter.
  • Coconut oil.
  • How to make shea butter and coconut oil face mask:
  • Take 2 tablespoons of shea butter in a bowl.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to it.
  • Stir until well mixed.
  • Apply this mixture on your face.
  • Let it dry for 15 minutes.
  • Then wash it off with lukewarm water.

8. Alo vera face mask/face pack:

Aloevera has moisturizing properties. It hydrates and heals the skin and brings glow to the skin.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons fresh aloevera gel
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey

How to make aloevera face mask:

  • Mix all the ingredients well until a smooth paste is formed.
  • Apply this paste on your face and let it dry for 15 minutes.
  • Then wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Use it twice a week.

9. Yogurt Face Mask/Face Pack:

Yogurt contains natural fats and acids that exfoliate the skin. Natural fats provide moisture to the skin and natural acids help remove dry and flaky skin.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp yogurt.
  • 1 tbsp honey.
  • Half a teaspoon turmeric

  • Mix all the ingredients well until a smooth paste is formed.

10. Turmeric Face Mask/Face Pack for Dry Skin:

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp pure milk.
  • 1-2 tbsp turmeric.
  • How to make turmeric face wash.
  • Mix all the ingredients well in a mixing bowl.
  • Apply the paste on your face using a cotton ball.
  • Let it dry for 10-15 minutes then wash it off with water.
  • Use it twice a week.
